P-regulator and PI-regulator are special cases of the more general PID-regulator. You can also call all of these "controller" instead of regulator, since they don't necessarily have to operate only for input disturbance rejection (i.e., regulation). P controller is PID without integral and derivative action, and PI is PID without derivative action.
